Altai began in the mountains — not as a brand, but as a necessity. Gear that worked in the city failed at altitude. Gear built for altitude looked wrong everywhere else. We wanted something that could do both without compromise.
Named after the Altai range — where Russia, China, Mongolia, and Kazakhstan converge — the brand reflects terrain without borders. Technical apparel designed in London, manufactured in Portugal, built for wherever the ground rises.

Every Altai garment is cut and sewn in Porto, Portugal — a region with generations of textile expertise. We work directly with a single factory, maintaining full visibility over production from fabric roll to finished piece.
